The ibits suite of solutions have all been
developed using the most current and stable technology. The core
software has all been developed using MICROSOFT development
tools - primarily Visual C++, Visual Basic and now 'dot.net' using
C#. The
underlying database is ORACLE 8.1.7+. The development methodology used follows the 'Component Object Model' with ibits exposing all of the underlying objects methods and properties so you can easily integrate these into your own
applications.
With the advent of
Microsoft's .NET Architecture all of these objects have been moved to
ASP.NET and C# not only
allowing their simple re-use within your own applications but full
object inheritance. The base ibits WEB application server is
primarily a series of IIS components however they are deployed as
completely 'stateless' applications. Therefore as your demand grows
you can scale the application to multiple web servers and take
advantage of all load balancing technology available
today.
In order to run the ibits
applications the following is required:
WEB
